Activities —–
Went to Tool Station to buy rivets + rivet gun.
Hand sewed buttons onto shirts and packed for distribution.
Steamed lace panels I knitted for lace trousers – had to be completely flat and stretched out to the right size.
Traced out paper pattern in size small + 1 inch for lace trousers – added 1cm seam allowance.
Laid out knitted fabric onto pattern pieces for cutting – need to stretch out knitting into the right size and line up markers

Challenges and skills learnt —–
Button attaching:
- Tie small knot at end of thread
- Make a small stitch on surface of the fabric
- Put button on needle and make stitch into diagonal hole.
- Make small stitch under button on the surface of the fabric
- Repeat 3 or 4 times for each pair of holes
- Wrap threat around base of button so that its high off the fabric
- Stitch through wrapped thread and make a knot by putting needle through loop of thread (x2)
