Hand sewed up hem of knitted zip up
Knitted a zip up on double bed domestic ribber machine
Checked over finished zip up pieces and fixed any dropped stitches + put in wash
Knitted samples and tension swatches for another zip up jumper
Pinned placements of crochet pieces onto jacket toile and tacked them onto the fabric
Challenges and skills learnt —–
First time knitting a fully fashioned garment – requires a lot of thought and concentration
Had to undo mistakes but it meant that I also learnt how to fix problems
Decreasing by 1 by transferring 6 stitches – nice feature
