Activities —– Cutting out more pieces for knitted shirting Hand sewing together more fur jacket pieces Irish crocheting pieces for start if new collection jacket Never done crochet like this (or much crochet at all) so was an exciting are task to try
Week 9 —–
Activities —– Sewing in sleeves for hand knitted fur jacket + weaving in ends + sewing in label Traced and cut out paper pattern pieces Pressed and fused knitted fabric and cut out pieces for shirting
Week 8 —–
Activities —– Sewing on shirt buttons + ironing them + packing them for an order Hand sewing together pieces of hand knitted fur jacket Steamed and packed velour jumpers Hand stitched up hem and sewed on zip for knitted zip up

Activities —– Pinning waistbands onto tracksuit bottoms x6 Unpicking a load of wrong stitching London Trimmings order collection + shop run Hand sewed labels onto knitted shirts Picking up button order Hand sewing buttons onto knitted shirts Struggling quite a lot at the moment – commuting to London is exhausting and expensive. Activities —– Sewed buttons onto trousers Pressed and hand stitch up trousers hems x10 Picked up zip order from London Trimmings + food shop Weaving in ends of knitted jumpers

Activities —– Went to Tool Station to buy rivets + rivet gun. Hand sewed buttons onto shirts and packed for distribution. Steamed lace panels I knitted for lace trousers – had to be completely flat and stretched out to the right size. Activities —– Weaving in ends of velour knitted jumper and zip up jumpers + quality control, including checking for dropped stitches. Steaming and pressing the jumpers to finish Machine knitting lace trouser panels and washing them Dyeing large hanks of hand knitting wool:

Activities —– Machine knitting lace trouser panels the whole week – one pair finished !
