Heat pressed fusing onto knitted fabric and cut out pattern pieces for garment construction.

Started machine knitting lace trouser panels
Challenges and skills learnt —-
I don’t have much garment construction and pattern cutting experience – very difficult and precise – lining up grain of fabric and cutting knit which moves around a lot
Lots of machine oil needed for lace carriage
Always two rows knit and 2 or 4 rows lace carriage (until needles go back into place)
